Online Meditation Sessions
The whole philosophy behind Sit STL is rooted in the idea that the world would be a much better place if everyone could quiet their mind via meditation. This could never be more true than it is right now as we face this global pandemic.
It has never been easier to turn on the news and instantly trigger a stress response (not like it was really that hard to do before the pandemic!). Not only does anxiety make life harder, it also has been shown time and time again that it weakens our immune system.
On top of everything, you're quarantined! So why not give it a shot?!
We have decided to release online meditation tracks below. We will continue to add to the collection as time goes on.
These are free of charge as we want EVERYONE to be able to enjoy the practice.
A few things to note:
1) USE HEADPHONES! The bowls will be difficult to hear without them (These are not professionally mastered, so the quality isn't ideal)
2) The sound experience is VASTLY different in person. So if you're used to experiencing the bowls in class, do not expect the same experience through your headphones.
3) While the track seems a bit quiet at first, don't max out your volume completely because the bowls can get a bit abrasive at points.
