What is (and what is not) Sit STL?

Sit STL is all about comprehensive wellness. This includes physical fitness & movement, nutrition coaching, and most importantly, mental & emotional strength. The foundation of any Sit STL program is rooted in mindfulness as we believe it's a lot easier to tackle fitness and nutrition goals when approached with a clear & focused mind.

The goal isn't to get you into a body building competition, nor is it to have you quit your job and go meditate in a cave for three months.

The goal is to simply get you in the mental and physical condition that will make normal life easier to live.

Currently accepting private clients (virtual or house call)

We are no longer offering group classes at Flowstate and are currently seeking a new home for group training.

More on Sit STL

In today’s chaotic world, most of us often find ourselves yearning to escape life's ever-widening landscape of distractions, obligations and stressors but simply don’t know how. Here at Sit, we aim to provide you with the space and tools that you need to shut everything off, take a deep breath and sit still (and move!). We are a secular meditation and movement studio that focuses solely on techniques that have been scientifically shown to produce physical changes in the brain and body. Our studio features a menu of classes incorporating various meditation & breathing techniques that affect different areas of the brain and improve different traits. Our fitness and movement coaching compiles techniques and equipment from a wide range of science-backed practices. This includes traditional elements from organizations such as the National Academy of Sports Medicine to not-so-traditional practical movement and body weight exercises seen in Original Strength programming. To top everything off, each class ends with an incredibly relaxing singing bowl demonstration. The goal of class is to warm you up, bring out a little sweat, and cool you back down.

We are not currently holding group classes. Classes were previously held out of Flowstate in the Fox Park neighborhood of St. Louis. Unfortunately, Flowstate closed shop in 2022 and Sit STL is currently looking for a new home. In the meantime, consider private coaching. And keep an eye out for group classes returning sometime this year!

Featured Services

We are currently only offering 1x1 sessions until we find a new home for group classes. We can use your equipment if you have something specific you'd like to train with, otherwise all necessary equipment will be provided during each in-person session.
